CYCLE WEST is an inspiring project that puts three routes on the map for the discerning cyclist and connects them across international frontiers, making each of them an unforgettable experience to enjoy with friends and family.
Whatever your ability and experience, there’s a route for you and which you can join and leave where you want, and revisit as often as you wish - allowing you to experience over 1000km of safe and enjoyable cycling. Along the way you’ll savour unspoilt countryside, spectacular coastlines, bustling market towns, picturesque villages, ancient ruins and historic buildings as you make your way through South West England, Normandy and Brittany.
CYCLE WEST is all about discovering those popular destinations in your own time – stopping when and where you choose, and appreciating the different sights, sounds, cultures and cuisines along the Velodyssey, the Petit Tour de Manche and the Tour de Manche. While dedicated cyclists may feel up for undertaking all of the journey, you can also opt to ride chosen sections of the routes.
