Weymouth and Portland is proud to host over 200 events throughout the year, embracing the areas rich diversity of facilities and natural venues. From family festivals, sporting challenges to art and craft shows these are an abundant part of the annual calendar.
Whether casual visitor, enthusiast or participant there is plenty of inspiration, adventure and interest for you, all mixed with a warm blend of local hospitality, enthusiasm and passion.

22 28 June Weymouth and Portland Armed Forces Day Celebrations. Saturday events commence at 10 am with the arrival of the historic military vehicles to the Pavilion Forecourt and the very popular veterans rendezvous inside the Pavilion. The Beach Assault and Bridge Building exercise will take place on Weymouth Beach by the Royal Engineers. On Sunday the Service of Remembrance starts at 11am and is followed by the Parade of all veterans along the Weymouth Esplanade.
