Following the marvellous success last year event attracting 35,000 extra visitors and over £1.4 million to the local economy, Spirit of the Sea 2010 promises to be a big hit for everybody interested in being part of a unique multi event maritime festival, with particular significance as Weymouth and Portland prepare with great enthusiasm to hosting the sailing and windsurfing championships for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The 2010 Spirit Festival will celebrate the areas rich maritime and cultural relationship with the sea, featuring a fascinating diversity of prestigious events and entertainment.
