About Portland Visitor Centre

Portland Bill Lighthouse Visitor Centre is well stocked with local interest books, guides, maps and leaflets to help you make the most of your visit. The shop also stocks a good range of quality souvenirs.

Within the Visitor Centre, fascinating displays provide an excellent introduction to Portland’s environment & heritage. The displays range from geology, Portland stone and the Jurassic Coast to seasonal live video footage of nesting birds on nearby cliff ledges. Dinosaur brass rubbings are also available.
