Weymouth and Portland Bowls Tournament

Sunday 19 August – Saturday 26 August 2012

The Weymouth & Portland Open Bowls Tournament has been a regular yearly event and 2012 sees the Tournament celebrate its 52nd anniversary. The Tournament attracts entrants from all parts of the UK and continuing sponsorship by local business enables the Tournament to offer its attractive prize monies.

The Tournament also provides the added attraction of offering a sea side environment where entrants can also combine a holiday with their bowling.

Entrants can compete in:-

• Men’s Singles
• Men’s Pairs
• Men’s Triples
• Ladies Pairs
• Mixed Pairs
• Under - 18’s Singles.

Competitions are played on the local Weymouth bowling freen at Melcombe Regis; Greenhill and Wellworthy. Matches are played daily with Finals Day on Saturday 26th August at Greenhill Bowls Club. Spectators are most welcome at each of the greens and there is no entry fee to watch the matches.
